How to check your computer's BIOS details

BIOS, also known as Basic Input Output System, is a type of firmware that necessary for the booting of computer with Windows operating system. Typically, many people should restart the computer and check the BIOS details, but there is another way that can check the information easily without restarting the computer.

1. Click to open the Start menu, click Run
2. Type "msinfo32" in the running text box, then hit Enter key
3. In this way, the System Information program will be activated, and you will see your system information
4. Find out and locate the BIOS Version/Date entry on the right side, and you will be able to check the specific information of BIOS.
